Klarna Customer FAQs – Pay Later in 30 Days

Who is Klarna?

Klarna is a Swedish payment service provider that manages secure payments on behalf of retailers. They work with over 190,000 online stores and are trusted by more than 80 million customers worldwide. Klarna handles your payment safely from start to finish.


How does Pay Later in 30 Days work?

Once your order with Tile Star is confirmed, Klarna will email you payment instructions within two days. You’ll then have 30 days to try your products before paying.
You can pay anytime within the 30-day period using a debit or credit card at www.klarna.com/uk.
There are no extra fees if payments are made on time.

Klarna’s Pay in 30 Days agreements are not regulated by the FCA. Missing a payment may affect your ability to obtain credit from Klarna or other lenders. Subject to status. T&Cs apply – see klarna.com/uk/terms-and-conditions.


Am I eligible for Pay Later in 30 Days?

You must be at least 18 years old.
Although this payment option is widely available, eligibility depends on your financial circumstances. Klarna’s assessment will not affect your credit score.


How can I increase my chances of being accepted?

Klarna considers several factors, including order value, previous history, and stock availability.
You can improve your chances by:

- Providing your full name

- Entering accurate address details

- Using your registered billing address

Being approved once does not guarantee approval for future orders, and being declined once does not mean you’ll be declined again.


Will Klarna run a credit search?

Klarna may run an “unrecorded enquiry,” also known as a soft search. This does not affect your credit rating and is only visible to you and Klarna.
Tile Star does not run any credit searches for Klarna payments.


Why wasn’t I offered Pay Later in 30 Days?

This payment method is offered automatically by Klarna’s system, based on factors such as order amount, product availability, retailer, and your previous Klarna history.
If it isn’t offered, you can still complete your purchase using a debit or credit card.


What payment options are available with Klarna?

You can:

- Pay immediately at checkout using debit or credit card

- Or use Klarna’s Pay Later in 30 Days option to pay after receiving your order


What happens if I cancel or return my order?

Once Tile Star confirms your cancellation or return, Klarna will update or cancel your statement, or issue a refund where applicable.


What happens if I don’t pay on time?

Payment is due 30 days after your order is dispatched. Klarna will send reminders by email, and if payment is very late, they may follow up by text or letter.
Your credit score will not be affected even if you pay late for Pay Later in 30 Days orders.


I’ve been asked to visit the Klarna site — is that correct?

Yes. If you selected Pay Later in 30 Days, Klarna will email you with a link to make your payment. Follow the link to pay securely via debit or credit card.


What information do I need to provide to use Klarna?

You’ll need to enter your name, billing address, and email address. Some orders may require your mobile number or date of birth.
All payment instructions and reminders will be sent to the email address you provide, so make sure it’s accurate.


Is my payment information secure?

Yes. Klarna processes all payment details securely. Tile Star never receives or stores your card information.
All transactions use modern, secure encrypted connections.


Can I pay before the due date?

Absolutely. Once you receive Klarna’s email with your payment details, you can pay your balance at any time within the 30-day period.


Have you received my payment?

If you paid by card at checkout, Tile Star will confirm your order immediately.
If you’re using Pay Later in 30 Days, Klarna will email you a payment confirmation.
You can check your payment status anytime by logging in to www.klarna.com/uk.


What happens to my statement when I return goods?

Once Tile Star confirms your partial or full return, Klarna will update your statement accordingly.
If it’s a full return, your statement will be closed.


I’ve received a statement but not my order. What should I do?

You still have 30 days to pay, so there’s no need to worry immediately.
If your due date is approaching but your order hasn’t arrived, contact Tile Star for delivery updates, or contact Klarna to request an extension.


I cancelled my order — when will I get my refund?

Once Tile Star processes your cancellation or return, Klarna will issue your refund within 5 business days.


How will I be refunded?

If you paid by card, the refund will go back to the same card.
If you haven’t paid your Klarna statement yet, your balance will be reduced or cancelled.


I haven’t received my Klarna email or payment details.

Log into your Klarna account at www.klarna.com/uk, where you can view all orders, statements, and payment options.
