Introduction

These Terms & Conditions set out the basis on which Tile Star supplies products through this website. 
By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Please read them carefully and keep a copy for future reference. If you have any questions, contact us before ordering.

2. Website Use & Eligibility

2.1 Our website is intended for customers in the United Kingdom and for delivery to UK addresses.
2.2 Orders for delivery outside the UK may be possible by prior arrangement and may incur additional charges.
2.3 By placing an order, you confirm that:

- you are at least 18 years old

- you are legally capable of entering into a binding contract

- the information you provide is accurate and complete


3. Product Information

3.1 Tiles are manufactured in batches and variations in shade, colour, size, and finish may occur.
3.2 Samples are provided as a guide only and may differ from the final delivered batch.
3.3 Product images are illustrative; colours and textures may vary by screen.
3.4 Sizes and specifications are given as accurately as possible but may vary due to the nature of tile products.
3.5 All products must be checked before installation. Once tiles are fixed, they are deemed accepted.
3.6 Products are supplied for domestic use unless stated otherwise.
3.7 Stock availability and delivery times are estimates only.


4. Placing an Order

4.1 Orders are placed via the checkout process on our website.
4.2 You are responsible for ordering sufficient quantities, including allowances for wastage and cuts.
4.3 A contract is formed once we issue an order confirmation email.
4.4 If we cannot fulfil your order, we will notify you and issue a refund where applicable.
4.5 Amendments or cancellations must be requested within two hours of placing an order.


5. Consumer Cancellation Rights

5.1 This section applies to consumers only.
5.2 You may cancel your order within 14 days of delivery, excluding special-order products.
5.3 Cancellation rights apply only to full order cancellations.
5.4 We do not accept returns of leftovers, opened boxes, or partial quantities.
5.5 Returned goods must be unused, unopened, in original packaging, and resalable.
5.6 Unless goods are faulty, customers must arrange and pay for insured return delivery.


6. Returns & Refunds

6.1 Returns must be requested within 14 days of delivery.
6.2 Only full orders returned unused and unopened will be accepted.
6.3 Goods must be returned in original packaging and suitable for resale.
6.4 Refunds exclude return delivery costs.
6.5 Refunds are processed after inspection of returned goods.
6.6 Refunds are issued within 7 working days of inspection.
6.7 A 35% restocking charge applies to all accepted change-of-mind returns.


7. Faulty Goods

7.1 Faulty goods will be refunded or replaced in line with your statutory rights.
7.2 Tiles must be inspected before installation. Installed tiles are considered accepted.


8. Delivery

8.1 We deliver nationwide using third-party pallet networks.
8.2 Delivery dates are estimates and cannot be guaranteed.
8.3 Most deliveries are kerbside only.
8.4 Someone must be present to accept and sign for delivery.
8.5 Any visible damage must be signed for as “DAMAGED”.
8.6 Failed deliveries or re-deliveries may incur additional charges.
8.7 Do not book installers until your full order has arrived and been checked.

Delivery Charges
Pallet delivery is charged at £49 per pallet for orders under the free delivery threshold.


9. Risk & Ownership

9.1 Ownership passes once full payment is received.
9.2 Risk passes on delivery.
9.3 Disposal of pallets and packaging is the customer’s responsibility.


10. Damage & Shortages

10.1 Damage or shortages must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.
10.2 Claims must be supported with photographs.
10.3 Claims cannot be accepted if goods were signed for without noting damage.


11. Samples

11.1 Samples are recommended before ordering.
11.2 One sample per tile only.
11.3 Samples may differ from final deliveries.
11.4 Sample costs are non-refundable.


12. Pricing & Payment

12.1 Prices include VAT unless stated otherwise.
12.2 Delivery charges are added at checkout.
12.3 Prices may change but will not affect accepted orders.
12.4 Payment must be received in full before dispatch.


13. Liability

13.1 We supply goods in accordance with the contract.
13.2 We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
13.3 No guarantees are given for commercial use unless agreed in writing.


14. Complaints & Disputes

Please contact us first to try to resolve any dispute informally.


15. Klarna Payments

We offer Klarna payment options including:

Eligibility is subject to Klarna’s terms and status checks.
